Rev. Daryl L. Randall, 69, formerly of Memphis, passed away on Aug. 4, 2010 in Marietta, Ga.
Daryl is survived by his son, David, of Roswell, GA; and two sisters, Donna Stroud of Grove, Okla., and Mary Willis of Wichita, Kan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jennifer, his sister, Carol Jacobsen and his parents, Harlan and Bonnie Randall.
Daryl faithfully served the Lord for 43 years as a Baptist minister in churches across the country, spending the majority of his career in the Memphis area. He held a Bachelors of Music from Southeast Missouri State, a Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Seminary and a Masters in Education from the University of Memphis. He was at his brightest when he was ministering to people through his gift for music, singing and playing piano at churches, revivals and on mission trips across the country and overseas.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 9 at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, Miss., with arrangements handled by Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Daryl’s honor to the Memory Walk of Atlanta to support Alzheimer’s research
