Reginia Hacker-Hayes

February 21, 1977 — August 19, 2023

Forest, MS

Reginia Ann Hacker-Hayes was taken too soon from her earthly home on August 19, 2023. She was born on February 21, 1977 to Larry Hacker Sr. and Deborah Sanderson Pinter in Jackson, Ms. A visitation will be held for family and friends to remember her life on Friday, August 25 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest from 5-7pm. A funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel.

Reginia will always be remembered as a loving mother, and a doting grandmother. Her joy in life was her children and grandchildren and she would have done anything for them. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Hacker Sr. and her son, John Martin. She leaves behind 4 children, Chris Hacker, Brittany Harris, Jessica Porter, and Breanna Hayes; Her husband, Norman Lee Hayes; 2 sisters, Amy Gray, and Carrie Hacker; and 3 brothers, Larry Hacker Jr., Jeff Hacker, and Terry Hacker; 12 grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Hacker-Hayes was a fun-loving free spirit. In her free time, she could be found riding back roads and listening to her favorite music, spending time with her friends, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. She was known for her beautiful smile and how hard she loved the ones she held close to her heart. She loved her children with everything she had, and they all agree that she was the best grandmother to their babies. Reginia was the life of the party and she will be missed sorely by all who knew her.

Ott and Lee of Forest is honored to serve the Hacker/Hayes family in their time of need.
