Rebecca Dean “Becky” Boyd, 72, passed away on Wed. April 1, 2026 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. April 4, 2026 from 9:30am-1pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 1pm on Sat. April 4, 2026 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Fannin Baptist Cemetery in Fannin, MS.

Mrs. Boyd was born on Sept. 29, 1953 in Bogalusa, LA to the late William Dewey Norton and Alice Brill Norton and was currently a resident of Pelahatchie, MS. Mrs. Boyd was a former Circuit Clerk for Rankin County, MS.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy Boyd and Buddy Boyd (April); two brothers, Ricky Norton (Lois), Danny Norton (Kathy) and four grandchildren, Bella Boyd, Melanie Boyd (David Huff), Madalyn Boyd and Barrett Boyd. Mrs. Boyd is also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Boyd and her son, George William Boyd Jr.
