Rebecca Fleming Blake

Rebecca Fleming Blake, 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, October 23, 2026, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, with visitation starting at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Church of Christ Cemetery in Steens, MS.

Rebecca was born in Collinsville, MS on September 14, 1942, to James Grady Fleming and Annie Ella Buxton Fleming. She was a member of Columbus Church of Christ and now a member of Lake Harbor Church of Christ in Ridgeland, MS. Rebecca worked for many years at First Columbus Bank and Trustmark National Bank. She was a member of Toastmasters and served as Treasurer for many years. Rebecca also loved to travel and garden.

Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Bush and husband, Glenn of Brandon, MS; son, Rick Blake and wife, Rene of Austin, TX; grandsons, Rob Blake and wife, Anna both of Houston, TX, Justin Bush of Charleston, SC, Ryan Blake of Paduka, KY, and Reid Blake of Austin, TX. She will also be missed by Peanut and Chase her two little pups who brought immense joy and love to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Dennis Ray Blake in 2017, and her brothers, James Fleming, Jr., Louis Fleming, and Milton Fleming.
