Mr. David Grogan, age 66, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at University Medical Center in Jackson.  His visitation will be held 12-2pm Friday, April 15, 2022 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Springhill Cemetery.  Bro. David Chandler will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Grogan was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas on June 25, 1955.  He loved being outside in the beautiful nature, enjoyed reading a good book and watching westerns on tv.   He especially loved watching movies with Joseph, his grandson.  David loved his family and his grands and great grands were the apple of his eye.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Grogan and Lela White Grogan; son, Carl Grogan; siblings, Ray & Riley Grogan; Annie Calahan, Pat Crabtree, Doris Nelson and Shirley Hicks.

He is survived by his 4 children, Shannon Haggard of TX, Dawn Buchanan (Mark) of TX, Vanessa Grogan of TX and Joe Grogan (Christine) of Pelahatchie; siblings, Dorothy Free Morgan or AR, Ellie Dams of TX, Joyce Grogan of TX, Kathy Guy of Morton, Tammy Hill of AR, Carolyn Gouveia of California, John Grogan of Morton and Woodrow Grogan of TX; 13 grandchildren, Nadalie Bragg, Katelyn Grogan, Tristan Haggard, Jenna Baker, Zachary Buchanan, Cassidy Buchanan, Korey Buchanan, Paige Allen, Ava Allen, Justin Carpenter, Gracie Grogan, Carlye Grogan and Joseph Grogan, Jr.; 2 great grandchildren, Embree Bragg and Carsyn Barnhill; a host of other family member and friends.
