Paul William Stewart, 73, of Harperville, MS passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his home. A public visitation will be held on Monday, January 15 from 11-1 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS.
Mr. Stewart was born September 18, 1951 to Wendell Stewart and Edith Marie Sanders in Scott County, Mississippi, where he spent his whole life. He was a faithful member of Harperville Baptist Church. Mr. Stewart could be described as a people person, full of charisma and was known to draw people in with his charm. He was the type of person that others gravitated toward and was always the first to offer a helping hand. He would give anyone the shirt right off his back and was a man that could truly be counted on. In his free time, he could be found on a pond bank casting a line, cheering on his favorite sports teams or NASCAR drivers, hosting a card game with his buddies, or telling jokes to put a smile on someone’s face. Paul was a devoted father, and his children were the greatest blessing to him. It was well known that Kelsey, April, and Shawn were the light behind his eyes and that they thought he hung the moon.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandson, Lincoln Warren.
He leaves behind his 3 children, April, Kelsey, and Shawn Stewart; 3 Step Children, whom he loved like his own, Eric Braddy (Tanya), Crystal Braddy, and Brandon Braddy (Samantha); 2 grandchildren, Brux’lynn Osburn and Ashton Boozer.
If you would like to make a contribution in honor of Mr. Stewart, please do so in his name to the Epilepsy Research Foundation.
Ott and Lee is honored to serve the Stewart Family in their time of need.
