Patsy Moore

Patsy Moore, age 90 and a resident of the Harperville community died Monday, January 16, 2023, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson following surgical complications.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Thursday, January 19, 2023, from the chapel of OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with interment to follow in the Harperville Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held from 11am till the service time.   Elder Hilton Moore will officiate and the eulogy will be given by Tim Moore.

She was born on June 14, 1932, in Kemper County.  She was a faithful member of Damascus Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore became a Teacher’s Aide until her retirement.

Preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandsons, Ty Lofton and Todd Lofton.

Survivors include her husband of 72 years, (married November 22, 1950)  Hilton Moore of Harperville, 2 children; Donna M. Lofton of Harperville, and Tim Moore (Janice) of Madison, 2 grandchildren; Matt Singley, Ross Moore;  a legacy of 6 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Linda Clark Rucker of Harperville.

Pallbearers are Matt Singley, Ross Moore, Wills Scarbough, Archie Scarbough, Max Lang, and Dale Rogers.
