Patsy Mcphail

Patsy Keith McPhail, age 75 of Brandon, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Visitation will be 5:00pm until 7:00pm Friday, January 13, 2023, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A graveside service will be 11:00am Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael, MS.

She was born in Kilmichael, MS on July 28, 1947, to the late Udell and Myrtle Keith.

Patsy was retired from the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission after 31 years and then went to work for the U.S. District Court where she retired after 20 years of service. She was a member of Pinelake Church. Patsy enjoyed crossword puzzles and everything that was sports related to her grandchildren especially softball. Although she loved her family dearly, she would take in anyone in need and gave of herself selflessly.  She never asked anything in return and would refuse if you offered. Her love had no limits.

Patsy is survived by her son, Bert (Amanda) McPhail; grandchildren, Pierson and Presley; a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Joanne Thomas.
