Oma “Dale” Brister, 59, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Visitation will be 4pm until 6pm Friday, February 25, 2022, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 6pm.

Survivors include his son, David (Wendy) Brister of Brandon, MS; granddaughter, Mackenzie Brister; father, Ron McCright; and his sisters, Carolyn Martinez, Penny (Earl) Sessums, Jamie (Ernie) Walker, and Gina McCright. He was preceded in death by his father, Oma Wardale Brister; mother, Shirley Allen McCright; and a sister, Susan McCright.
