Ollie Stewart

Mr. Ollie Stewart, age 74, a resident of Forest passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at his home.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 11am-2pm at Lorena Baptist Church.  Services will be held at 2pm Thursday at the church will burial in the church cemetery.  Bro. Norris Ables, Bro. James Maddox and Bro. Frank Batte will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.

Mr. Stewart was born in Smith County on December 28, 1947.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed hauling pulpwood, hunting and riding his four-wheeler.  Ollie loved his dogs, Old Yellow and Roadrunner.  He was a great mechanic and listening to old country music was one of his favorite things to do.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Hubert Stewart and Lodena Primm Stewart; siblings, Henry Lee Stewart, Hosey Elton Stewart, Mary Adcock, Geraldine Perkins, John Thomas Stewart, Kenneth Wayne Stewart, Barbara Cora and Linda May.

He is survived by his siblings, Roy Stewart (Dora-deceased) of Florence, Robert Stewart (Donna) of Union, Betty Stewart of Forest, Brenda Knowles of Lorena, Bonnie Hutchinson of Forest and Vickie Cook (James-deceased) of Quitman, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
