Ollie Dell King, 87, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 2-5 pm Sunday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 2 pm Monday, April 26, 2010 at the funeral home with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. Rev Paul Smith will officiate.

Mrs. King was born August 12, 1922 in Kosciusko, MS and was a longtime resident of Rankin County. She retired as a nurse’s aid from the State of Mississippi and loved shopping, playing dominoes, cooking and decorating. Mrs. King was a member of Nile Church of Christ in Attala County.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas C. King (Sudie) of Brandon and Ronald King (Mary) of Brandon; daughters, Shelia K. Smith of Pearl and Renee K. MacNeil (Joe) of Brandon; daughter-in-law, Jean King of Terry and sister, Hazel Downs of Kosciusko; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Benton E. King; parents, Jasper and Hattie Sanders; sons, Edwin S. King and Roger H. King; son-in-law, Roger L. Smith and sister, Lula Mae Blanton preceded her in death.
