Known by everyone as Nell, she was born on Sunday, January 26, 1930, in Smith County during the President Hoover era to her parents E.L. Walters Reeves and Eddie B. Reeves. Nell worked for the Raleigh Corporation as a seamstress until she retired. She then went to work for Wal-Mart when the store opened in Forest overseeing the fabric department, and later she worked in every area of the store for over 30 years and was well-known by so many who frequented the store. At age 88, she retired from Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Goodwater Baptist Church, and faithful to attend and work in the church whenever she was available. She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. Best said, she was a true picture of a Proverbs 31 woman. She also loved helping people in anyway she could. She also enjoyed going to the Polkville Civic Center and fellowship with her friends
