Nelda Renfrow

Mrs. Nelda Renfrow, age 60, and a resident of the Ludlow community passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Scott Regional Hospital at Morton after a sudden illness.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Ott &Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. M.L. Wallace and Bro. Bobo Phillipson officiating. Interment will follow in the Allen Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm Monday at the funeral home.

She was a native of Rankin County and a longtime resident of Ludlow. She loved her family and was proud of her grandchildren whom she loved very much.  She was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Claude D. & Axie Harrell Phillipson.

Survivors include her husband of forty years: Mr. John Renfrow; two children: Johnathan Lynn Renfrow of Ludlow and Tonya Hollis of Rankin County; two grandchildren: Jayden Hollis and John C. Hollis; one sister: Pam Williams; three brothers: Larry ( Ginger) Phillipson, Gary (Linda) Phillipson and Jerry D. Phillipson; a special friend and sister-in-law: Gayl Kay and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers include Jeffrey Phillipson, Randy Phillipson, Brock Tripp, Tony Gomez, Ray Phillipson, and Chad Waltman.
