Nancy Finch Harvey, age 83, a resident of Morton passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.  Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Friday, February 3, 2023 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 12pm-1:30pm Saturday at the funeral home.  Chapel service will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 4, 2023 from the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Springfield Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Scott Walters will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Harvey was born in Scott County on July 3, 1939.  Nancy enjoyed painting and calligraphy.  She loved cooking for her family and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren always brightened her days.  Nancy had a very caring heart and was known for sending cards to people for birthdays, sickness and just to let them know she was thinking about them.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arden B. Finch and Mildred A. Parker Finch; husband, William Arthur “Hank” Harvey; and sister, Barbara Finch Morehead McCoy.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne Harvey Everett (Kevin) of Morton; 2 grandchildren, Dr. William Harvey Hastings Everett and wife, Dr. Elyse Everett and Hannah Elizabeth Finch Everett; 3 great grandchildren, Kathryn Eliana Annette Everett, Roland Aufman Hastings Everett and Addie Youngblood Finch Everett; her fur baby that she loved very much, Peanut; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Cooper, Milton Chapman, Paul Morehead, David Parker, Steven Crotwell and Christopher Ryesinger.

Memorials may be made in her honor to The Church of the King.
