****************************************************************************************************

Mr. Bobby Ray Harrison, age 83, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday,  February 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  His visitation will be held 4:30 pm-8:00pm Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  Family will have a private burial service at The Harrison Hill Cemetery.  Bro. Greg Ledbetter, Bro. Tim West and Bro. Willie Hammack will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Harrison was born in Scott County on September 21, 1938.  He loved spending time with his family and eating lunch on Sundays with them.  Bobby would think up things that needed to be done, just so he could go work on his tractor.  He was a hard-working man, who enjoyed being outside.  He loved feeding his birds and taking care of his plants and flowers.  He gave away Angel Trumpets every year, so others could have beautiful flowers at their home.  He was always thinking of others.  He was one of a kind.  Bobby had a hand in raising several generations of children in Morton at The Little Red Apple Childcare Center.  He was everyone’s “second” Pawpaw.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Otte Harrison and Warine Stokes Harrison; siblings, Betty Everett, Robert Harrison and Inez Hammack.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Harrison of Morton; children, Jeffrey Harrison of Morton and Jimmy Harrison (Kim) of Morton; sisters, Juanita Gray of Yazoo City and Vermell Windham of Homewood; grandchildren, Keri Risher, Briccili Allen (Cody), Breanne Gatewood (Jonathan), Brook Harrison, Samantha Harrison, Leah Harrison, Zack Harrison and Jr. Harrison (Jessica); great grandchildren, Hunter Risher, Jon Rian Gatewood, Brooks Allen, Paisley Gatewood, Ben Allen, Lillian Allen, Evie Rae Gatewood and Bella Harrison; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Gatewood, Cody Allen, Roger Stokley, Steve Windham, Al Harrison and Dwight Hughes.  Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Harrison, Hunter Risher, Jon Rian Gatewood, Brooks Allen, Ben Allen, Burnham Stokley, Jr. Harrison, Austin Brantley, Chris Wallace and Robert Collier.
