Mike Scrimpshire

James Michael Scrimpshire, known to most as Mike, passed away on September 24, 2023. Mike was born November 24, 1950, in Laurel, MS. Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mike was a hard worker, inventor, electronic engineer, softball coach, and businessman. Mike loved the outdoors, fishing, and watching sporting games, but most of all, he loved caring for people. Mike was beloved by everyone who knew him and was always looking for an opportunity to bring a laugh or a smile to his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife Connie Scrimpshire, daughter Amanda Miller, son-in-law, Jason Miller, son Jacob Scrimpshire, daughter-in-law, Shanna Scrimpshire, brother, Neil Scrimpshire, sister-in-law, Patty Scrimpshire; along with his 6 grandchildren: Kayleigh Miller, Makenzie Miller, Jude Scrimpshire, Abe Scrimpshire, Zeke Scrimpshire, and Mae Scrimpshire.

 Mike was preceded in death by his father, James Scrimpshire, his mother, Lucille Scrimpshire, and grandson, Elijah Scrimpshire.

Arrangements are being finalized for a Celebration of Life for family and friends in the near future.
