Michael Stokes

Michael Troy Stokes, 56, passed away Mon. July 16, 2018 at the Merit Health Hospital in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. July 18, 2018 from 1pm-2:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Wed. July 18, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Clifton Baptist Church Cemetery in Scott County, MS.

Mr. Stokes was born in Forest, MS and was a longtime resident of Rankin County, MS. He was a graduate of Pearl High School and Belhaven University. In 2014, Mr. Stokes retired from the Mississippi Department of Transportation. Mr. Stokes was a very loving man who enjoyed every minute he spent with his family.

He is survived by his three children, Mallory Stokes, Amanda Stokes and Troy Stokes; mother, Mary L. Jones; father and step mother, Jimmy and Barbara Stokes; two sisters, Laura Jones Black (Karol) and Chris Jones; brother, Jim Stokes (Leigh) and several step sisters and step brothers.
