Michael Garduno, Sr

Michael Garduno, Sr., age 67, a resident of Forest, died Sunday, July 27, 2025, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, August 2, 2025, from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with Bro. Chris Harrison is officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am till the service time. Graveside services will not be held. He will be laid to rest in the Steele Baptist Cemetery.

Michael was born on November 16, 1957, to his parents, Louis Garduno and Wanda Nayhan Garduno, in Geneva, IL. He was a maintenance worker. He enjoyed the outdoors, visiting with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Connie Mathis, Sandy Franklin, and brother, Johnny Garduno.

Survivors include his loving wife, Gail Garduno, of Forest, three children: Michael Garduno, Jr. Michelle Garduno, and Matthew Garduno. He is also survived by his siblings: Dorothy Samanski, Nancy Harrell, Robert Garduno (Annie), Brenda Garduno, Susan Garduno, and Donnie Garduno. He also leaves a legacy of one grandchild, Courtney, and one great-grandchild, Paisley
