Meltirina Davison, 63, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Merit Health River Oaks.  Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11am.  Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Davison was born in Kolonia Pohnpei FSM on September 9, 1959 to Kristel Welsin and Etewis Jano.  Meltirina met her husband, David Davison in 1992 in Guam while he was in the US Navy.  She worked in several restaurants since being in the US and in August she and David opened a retail store, Mellys Pacific Island Wear in Pearl, MS.

Survivors include her husband, David E. Davison; children, Aileen Johannes, Arleen Ioanis, Glorina Santos, Dickson Johannes, Jerald Welsin, and Stephanie Welsin; sisters, Lenora Mobley and Pritele Martin; brother, Albert Amson; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
