Melba Langston

Melba Everett Langston, 65, passed away at her home in Brandon, MS on Mon. Oct. 31, 2022. Visitation will be held on Mon. Nov. 7, 2022 from 10am-12:30pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 1pm on Mon. Nov. 7, 2022 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Melba was born in Jackson, MS on Jan. 4, 1957 to the late John B. Everett and Elsie Prine Everett.

She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Langston; son, Nicholas Langston (Claire Kinsey); two grandchildren, Joel Langston and Luke Mayronne; two sisters, Denise Barnes (Jeff) and Jill Delp (Billy); sister in law, Charlotte Langston; three nephews, Brian Barnes (Jennifer), Billy Delp IV (Damaris) and Everett Delp; niece, Rosemary Moore (Ben) and 4 great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Animal Rescue Fund of MS (ARF) or Children’s of Mississippi Family Assistance Fund (Batson).
