Mary Frances Vaughn age 92, a resident of Newton, Ms, passed away at Bedford Care Nursing Home on Saturday February 26, 2011 following an extended illness.
Services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest, Ms. with burial following in the Ebeneezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 12 noon until 1:45 pm Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the Funeral Home.Rev Steve Robinson and Rev Ralin Williams officiated the service.
Mrs Vaughn was a lifelong resident of Newton county. She was a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church. Mrs Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband Edward E Vaughn, one son Billy Ray Vaughn, father John C Nelson & mother Carrie Judge Nelson.
Survivors include: 2 sons George Vaughn and wife Pat ; Ralph Vaughn and wife Vicky , 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements.
