Mary Lucile "ML" Harris

Mary Lucile Parrish Harris, wife, mother, and follower of Jesus. Passed away on July 11, 2026. ML, as she was called in her adult life, was born on December 12, 1949, to Sam and Ruby Parrish. She had a wonderful grandmother who kept her during the day while her parents worked, and she was spoiled rotten.

ML was the wife of Joe Harris, and mother to Justin Harris and Angela Harris Rowland, and Patrick Rowland, Angela's husband. She was grandmother to Bella Noe, Alana and Hayes Harris, and Harris and Hadley Jo Rowland.

ML was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church for 36 years, and currently attended Pinelake Church through the online services when she was not able to attend.

ML was a graduate of Murrah High School and Belhaven College. She took her schooling seriously and enjoyed learning. After graduation, she was employed by Unifirst Federal Savings and Loan for twelve years. She then joined her husband Joe in the real estate industry and later processing mortgage loans for Joe. They worked as a team for over thirty years.

Celebration of Life Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, July 17, 2026, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Lakeland Place Memorial Park.
