Mary V. Cook Burnham, 77, passed away on Mon. May 11, 2026 in Brandon, MS. A graveside service will be held on Wed. May 13, 2026 at the Johns Cemetery in Johns, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Burnham was born on Nov. 17, 1948 in Brandon, MS to the late Milton W. Burcham and Mary Elizabeth Burnham Burcham.

She is survived by her husband, David Burnham; sister Barbara Barry (John); 6 grandchildren, Kayla Whiteley (Adam), Carlos, Cruz, Caroline, Blake & MacKenzie; 1 great grandchild, Raelynn Whiteley; 4 step children; a niece and a nephew. Mrs. Burnham is also preceded in death by her two children, Amy Cook, Tracie Cook and a brother, Douglas Burcham.
