Martha Evelyn Risher, 77, a resident of Brandon, MS, passed away on Thurs. April 20, 2023 at the Brandon Court Nursing Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. April 23, 2023 from 2pm-5pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Mon. April 24, 2023 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Risher was born in Jackson, MS on June 1, 1945 to the late J.R. Mounger and Melvina Hedricks Mounger.
She is survived by her two children, Richard Fortune (Karen) and Clifton Fortune; sister, Lisa Carol Mounger; brother, Billy Mounger; grandchild, Justin Fortune and a niece, Patty Harrell. Mrs. Risher is also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Mounger.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
