Martha Turner Hanson

Martha Turner Hanson, 95, passed away on February 13, 2026. She was the daughter of Lee and Marie Turner of Schlater, MS. She was preceded in death by a host of beloved family.

Martha was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Brandon, MS. She was an avid golfer and a well loved member of her community.

Martha is survived by daughter Sharon Hust (Jack), daughter Debra Patton (Preston), son Tommy Sims (Judy) and sister B J Trotter. She is also survived by 6 grandsons and 8 grandchildren who loved her very much.

Martha’s family wishes to thank Highland Home and Pax Hospice for their compassionate care and love shown to Martha.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Antioch Baptist Church of Brandon, MS or Alzheimer’s Association MS Chapter.
