With a spirit that roamed as free as the breeze and a smile that could light up any room, Maddi danced her way into heaven for her next great adventure on June 7, 2026. Her laughter was contagious, her hugs were fierce, and her generosity knew no bounds. She believed in chasing sunsets, making strangers into friends, and loving with her whole heart.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 20, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi, with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Graveside services to follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Madilyn is survived by her parents Robert Lowrey Mailly and Patricia Mailly Rooney, sister Kathryn Michelle Fontaine (Tony) of Hattiesburg MS, brother Paul Hebert Sewall IV, (Jessi) of Abbeville LA, daughter, Emilie Elizabeth Caballero of Wesson, MS, and Grandfather Gerald R Rooney of Pass Christian MS. She was preceded in passing by her sister Melissa Katelyn Mailly of Brandon, MS, her maternal grandmother, Shirley White Rooney of Lafayette, LA, and her paternal grandparents, Eugene Robert Mailly and Marguerite Greene Mailly of Sumner, MS.

While remembering Maddi riding like the wind on her horse Handy, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Wingard Home Ministry in Jackson, MS.
