Madelyn Morrow

Madelyn Virginia Morrow, age 85, of Brandon, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Baptist Hospital.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd. Jackson, MS 39209. Visitation will be Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon.

Madelyn was born August 8, 1932 in Flora, MS to the late Lacey Benjamin Varner and Gladys Gertude Bowman Varner. She attended Broadmoor Baptist Church and worked as a Supervisor for the State Board of Health Laboratory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Jay” Morrow; son, Joseph Gene Morrow; and siblings, Willie Dean Carver and Billy Gene Varner.

Madelyn is survived by her son, Lacey F. Morrow; sister, Neomia V. Langley; and a host of other relatives and friend.
