Carol Lynn Curlee

Brandon, MS

On August 30, 2022, Carol “Lynn” Curlee was welcomed into her eternal heavenly home. Born and raised in Jackson, MS, Mrs. Curlee passed from this life into the next under the loving care of her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and David Graves of Brandon, MS. In addition to her daughter,

Mrs. Curlee is also survived by her son Sean; brother, Tommy Cooke (Wanda); and sisters, Marilyn Hardee and Patricia Newman (James). Lynn's husband of 32 years predeceased her, as did her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Mae Laverne (Allen) Cooke.

Lynn's most profound legacy was borne out in her devotion to serving her LORD and Savior. Her "Servant's Heart" and "Prayer Warrior" philosophy resulted in the salvation of her entire immediate family: husband, daughter, and son. Mrs. Curlee was compassionate and loving, character traits obvious to all who truly knew her.

It seems only right that the family make mention of Kare-In-Home, a home and hospice care company. Many thanks for Dr. Sanders, Nurse Tonya, and Nurse Holly who graciously and tenderly offered expert care to Mrs. Curlee each time, day or night, they entered into her presence. Special thanks also are extended to Charity who tended this cherished mom with such professional gentleness and kindness.

A memorial service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Friends and family are invited to join others in this celebration of Mrs. Curlee's life. Services will begin at 2 p.m. There is no visitation planned prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Lynn would have been delighted to know that others contributed to the 'Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund' in her memory. Any memorials can be sent to the Church at 128 Bethel Church Road: Brandon, MS 39042.
