Louis Lamar French, 66, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Visitation will be 12noon until 2pm Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  His service will follow at 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.  There will be no graveside services.

Lamar was born in Jackson, MS to Louis Lamar French, Sr. and Winnie Butler French Mooney on October 17, 1956.  He was employed for many years at United Wholesale Flowers.

Survivors include his children, Amy Ainsworth (Justin), April Eldridge (Shane) and Brandi French; sisters, Cindy Henderson and Helen Mooney Joy; brother, Jerry Mooney; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his sister Judy Campbell and his parents.
