Lois Gail Grice Scott, 64, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home in Florence, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, February 18,2017 from 5 until 8 pm and Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 9 am until the 10 am Chapel Service at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Lois Gail Grice was born on November 28, 1952 in Laurel Mississippi to Melvin Lee and Tressie Lee Thornton Grice. She had been a resident of Rankin County for over 64 years. She was manager of the Sprint Mart in Brandon for over 18 years and was a member of Jesus Name Church in Brandon, MS.
Survivors include her husband, James A. Scott of Florence, MS; four children, Linda Gayle Westmoreland (P.L.) of Brandon, MS, Charlotte Lea Shedd (Ray) of Florence, MS, Johnny Dale Gallagher, Jr. (Tammy) of Florence, MS, and Jeremy Daniel Scott of Florence, MS; her mother, Tressie Lee McCraw of Brandon, MS; one sister, Janice Phillips (Gene) of Brandon, MS; five grandchildren, Erica Holton, Jessica Barnett, Todd Westmoreland, D.J. Gallagher, III, and James Ray Shedd, III; and six great grandchildren, Megan Weathersby, Zoe Sessums, Eli Shedd, Easton Shedd, Trevor Thibodeaux, and Conner Westmoreland.
