Linda Scott

Linda Ruth Scott, of Florence, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the age of 78.

She was born February 23, 1947, to Henry Vertis Mead and Arbelle Farmer Mead.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Vertis and Arbelle, and her grandson, Ryan Scott.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Ray Scott; sons, Todd Scott (Lori) and Tony Scott (Jessica); sister, Deborah Mead; and eight grandchildren.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes, there will be no services, and she will be laid to rest with her parents in Dry Creek Cemetery in Thomasville at a later date.
