Lester Hunt

Lester Hunt, 60, passed away from his earthly home on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Hester Hunt. Survivors include his mother, Flora Whitmire Hunt; daughter, Laura Hunt; brother, Michael Hunt and his wife, Jeanne; nephew, Matthew Hunt and his wife, Virginia; niece, Meredith Floyd and her husband Ray; four great nieces, Anna, Emma, Maggie, and Audrey Floyd; one great nephew, Garrett Hunt. Funeral arrangements are at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation is Friday, May 25, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in McCool, MS at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
