Laura Erin Hunt, 36, passed away Wed. Sept. 4, 2019 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Visitation was held on Fri. Sept. 6, 2019 from 5pm - 7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 am on Sat. Sept. 7, 2019 at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery in McCool, MS.

Rev. Owen Gordon officiated the services.

Laura is survived by her mother, Debbie Reid (Maylon) of Forest, MS; grandmother, Flora Whitmire Hunt; uncle, Michael Hunt; aunts, Janice Harrell, Kari Smith, Shari Williams and Fredia McBride; great aunt, Madeline Ellis; cousins, Matthew Hunt, Meredith Floyd, Kristy Thompson, Mary Drew and many other cousins throughout the United States; numerous second cousins; best friend Tasha Riley and a large number of friends.

Laura is preceded in death by her father, Lester Hunt; her grandmother, Mary Chumley; her grandfathers Hester Hunt and James Bruce; and an aunt, Judy Hopkins.
