Larry "Wayne" Perkins

Larry Wayne Perkins, 70, passed away on February 13, 2024, at his home in Union, MS surrounded by family. 

Visitation was held Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Ott & Lee in Forest, MS, and the funeral was held  Friday, February 16, 2024, at 12:00 pm with visitation was from 10:00-11:45 am prior to service. Burial will be at Salem Baptist Church in Lake, MS. Pastor Tim Vowell will officiate the services.   Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest is honored to serve the Perkins family.

Mr.  Perkins was born on June 14, 1953, to the late Leon and Opal Perkins.   He is survived by his wife Syble Perkins, 3 daughters, Stella Jenkins (Duran) of Morton, MS, Tracy Weissend (Jeremy) of Cullman, AL, Crystal England (Greg) of Georgetown, KY and 1 son, William Perkins of Madison, MS and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by 2 brothers, Marshall (Beverly) Perkins and David Perkins, and 1 sister, Betty (Joel) Hubbard. 

 He was preceded in death by his Father, Leon Perkins, Mother, Opal Roland, sister Peggy Cuenca and brother, James Randall Perkins. 

 Pallbearers were Amos Perkins, Jeremy Weissend, Dante Perkins, TJ Boykin, Keith Boykin and Greg England. 
 
 Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Taylor, William Lehner, Don Fisher, and Dwayne Traxler.
