Kenneth Ray Ellis

Kenneth Ray Ellis, 80, passed away on Wed. July 29, 2026 at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Aug. 1, 2026 from 10am-12pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm on Sat. Aug. 1, 2026 at Sunrise Baptist Cemetery in Carthage, MS.

Mr. Ellis was born on July 10, 1946 in Philadelphia, MS to the late B. J. Ellis and Lois Thomas Ellis. He served in the United States Army and worked in the sales industry for over 35 years.

Mr. Ellis is survived by his wife, Sue Ellis; two children, Jennifer Ellis (Mike Moore) and Brian Ellis (Shannon); four grandchildren, Tyler Harrison (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Harrison, Emily Ellis and Ace Ellis; three great grandchildren, William Blakeney, Knox Harrison, Ollie Harrison and one sister, Betty Perry.
