Katie Palmer

Katie Hill Palmer, 90, went home on Thurs. July 30, 2020 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 10am on Sat. Aug. 1, 2020 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS with Rev. Tim Black officiating. Pallbearers are Jerry King, Josh King, Jason Muirhead, Ryan Sanford, David Ainsworth, Billy Tucker and Nick Foshee. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack Palmer; her parents, Fred and Kate Wallace Hill; her sisters, Lucille Walker, Clorine Dubose, Martha Langford, Nina Perez and one brother, Fred Hill Jr.

Mrs. Palmer is survived by her children, Debbie (Bryan) Battenfield, Fred (Debra) Palmer, and Paula King; grandchildren, Brandie (Billy) Tucker, Ryan (Marlo) Sanford, Jerry (Amy) King, Josh King, Katie (David) Ainsworth, Britney (Jason) Murihead, Candace Palmer and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Miss. Division Inc. at 1380 Livingston Lane Jackson, MS 39213.
