Joyce Reed

Joyce Ann Reed, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend is at the hands and feet of Jesus. She was 67 years old. Joyce passed away on Sat. Oct. 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Joyce was born on Aug. 8, 1955 in Jackson, TN.

She was the beloved wife of Allen Reed. She is survived by her husband, Allen Reed; son, Bryan Ward and her adored grandchildren, Keegan Ward, Ayden Ward, Mason Ward and Aliya Ward. Joyce is also survived by her brother, Terry Easter; sister, Gloria Jean Patrick; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter who was the love of her life, Jennifer Diane Ward and her brothers, Johnny Easter, Joe Easter, Richie Easter and Darel Easter.

Joyce was a devoted Christian. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and is now united with Jesus and her daughter, Jennifer. Joyce was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her smile would light up a room and her laughter was contagious. She brought joy to every person she met and you were greeted with a huge smile and warm hug. If you knew Joyce you new love. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family, watching her grandchildren in all of their activities and traveling with her husband to watch her grandson, Mason play baseball. Joyce loved the outdoors. She loved to go on walks and enjoyed going to the beach. She definitely had a knack for making people laugh, weather it was at her or with her. She will be missed by so many but is no longer suffering and is now dancing with Jesus.

Services for Joyce will be held at a later date. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS handled arrangements.
