Jonathan E. Stampley, a beloved member of the community, passed away on July 8, 2023, in Pelahatchie, MS. He was born on December 16, 1974, in Jackson, MS. Jonathan's life was marked by his passion for fishing, hunting, working on his truck, he loved spending time with his father-in-law, Jimmy Turner, and above all, his love for his family and grandchildren.

Jonathan served in the army and treasured his time in the military. He was proud to have served his country and was grateful for the experiences and friendships he gained during his time in service.

Left to cherish Jonathan's memory is his loving wife, Lindsey Turner Stampley. They shared many beautiful moments together and built a strong foundation of love and support.

Jonathan's parents, Charlet Lutrick and Cary Stampley maintain fond memories of their son and are grateful for the joy he brought into their lives. His five children Matthew Bynum (Eryca), Kristie Bynum, Marissa Stampley (Max Lee), Kalyn Barlow (Brian Barlow), and Kaylyn Fowler embody Jonathan's legacy of love and compassion.

In addition to his immediate family members, Jonathan is survived by six siblings: Carrie Puckett (Bo), Rebecca Newman (Dewayne), Michael Stampley (Nicole), Holly Akin (Matt), and Stephane Butler (Doug) and, Daphane Stampley; father-in-law, Jimmy Turner. His extended family mourns the loss of a remarkable individual who touched their lives with kindness and generosity.

Jonathan also leaves behind a special bond with his grandchildren: Madelynn Whitehead, Jaxen Barlow, Kason Barlow, Jemma Allred, and Waylyn Barlow. They will always remember him as a doting grandfather who showered them with love and affection.

During Jonathan's visitation service on July 12th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Liberty Baptist Church in Morton, MS, friends and family will gather to celebrate his life. Another visitation will be held on July 13th from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the same location.  Bro. Paul Smith and Bro. Bobby Mckay Officiating. The burial will then take place at New Liberty Cemetery in Morton, MS, starting at 1:45 PM.

Jonathan will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His family takes comfort in the knowledge that his memory will live on through the kindness he showed to others and the impact he made on their lives.

In this time of grief, Jonathan's family wishes to express their gratitude for the support and sympathy they have received. They kindly request that any donations be made in Jonathan's name to a charity of choice.

Jonathan E. Stampley's departure has left a void in our hearts, but his spirit will guide us as we remember him with love and honor his memory.
