John Malcolm Rhinewalt

April 15, 1974 — April 26, 2026

Lena, MS

John Malcolm Rhinewalt, 52, of Lena, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at his home on April 26, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Malcolm was born on April 15, 1974, in Morton, Mississippi, to Dalton Ray Rhinewalt and Nona Rhinewalt.

Above all, Malcolm loved his family deeply. He is survived by his mother, Nona Rhinewalt of Lena, Mississippi; his aunt, Mary Jean Smith of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; his children, Madilyn Bradshaw (Davis) of Brandon, Mississippi, Joshua Rhinewalt of Brandon, Mississippi, and Landree Rhinewalt of Brandon, Mississippi; his sister, Diane Myers (Ray) of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; his niece, Crystal Bradley (Rick) and their children; the mother of his children, Heather Gordon of Brandon, Mississippi; and his girlfriend, Robin Bozarth of Memphis, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his son, John Connor Rhinewalt, and his father, Dalton Ray Rhinewalt.

Malcolm was known for his warm heart and easygoing nature. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. He also enjoyed woodworking and had a special gift for turning something simple into something truly beautiful.

More than anything, Malcolm was a proud father. He loved his children with his whole heart and never missed a chance to talk about how proud he was of each of them. His love for them was constant, steady, and unwavering.

He also shared a one-of-a-kind bond with his mother, whom he loved deeply. Their relationship was rare and special, built on a lifetime of love that will never fade.

Malcolm lived a life full of love for the people closest to him, always willing to give, help, and stand beside those he cared about. The love he gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.

Though our hearts carry deep sorrow, we find peace in knowing that Malcolm is no longer in pain and is now resting in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
