John C. Green

John C. Green, 76, passed away on Fri. Sept. 19, 2025, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Sept. 23, 2025, from 5pm-7pm and on Wed. Sept. 24, 2025, from 12pm-1pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 1pm on Wed. Sept. 24, 2025 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Green was born on June 5, 1949, in Modesto, CA. He served over 40 years in law enforcement with the Jackson Police Department and MS Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

He is survived by his son, Chris Green (Amber); granddaughter, McKenzie Alice Green and a cousin, Michael Witt. Mr. Green is preceded in death by his mother, Edna Lee Witt.
