Joe K. Vinzant, age 80 of Brandon, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Graveside services will be 2:30pm Sunday, January 8, 2023, at High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Raliegh, MS.
He was born June 6, 1942 to the late Delton Vinzant and Josie Thornton Wilson.
He was a member of High Hill Baptist Church in Raleigh, MS, a U.S. Army veteran, and owned and operated his own business as an Electronic Technician.
He is survived by his son, Joe (Amy) K. Vinzant, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittney (Tyler) Gray, Peyton Vinzant, and Reagan Vinzant; great-grandchildren, Camden Gray and Luke Gray; sisters, Shirley Vinzant and Linda Petty; brother, Marty Vinzant; other relatives and friends.
