Jimmy Hankins

Jimmy Dale Hankins, 82, of Jackson, Mississippi, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Merit Central Hospital in Jackson. He was a native of Smith County.

Private Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Beezer Cemetery. Brother Reggie Chisholm officiated. Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Brandon was in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by Peggy Hancock Hankins; parents Clinton and Effie Hankins; sisters, Pearl Grace Robinson, Marry Hankins, and Betty Jean Hankins; brothers, James Harold Hankins and David Hankins.

Survivors included Carolyn Hankins; sons, Steve, Craig, Wayne, and Shane Hankins and Gerald Martin; daughter, Jerrolyn Martin Owens; sisters, Alice Overland, Johnnie Lee, and Helen Gately; brother, Carol Hankins.
