Jessie Axel Russell

Baby, Axel Russell, age 4mo, became an angel in Heaven on, August 11, 2022 at his home in Morton, MS. Axel was a happy baby as you see in the photo, he brought smiles to everyone that saw him. Joys in his little life was to be tickled around the neck and would let you know when he was not getting the attention he wanted. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Axel is survived by his parents, Matthew and Brittney Russell, maternal grandparents., Angel Purvis and J.D. Thornsberry: paternal grandparents, Jessie and Cathy Russell; great grandmother, Remona Sessum; great grandfather, Jeff Blakeney; aunts and uncles, Shelly and Shane Reeves, Katelyn and Brandon Lowry, Rachel and Haden Hughes, Chris and Jessica King, Micah Purvis, Alaina Purvis, and Sabrina Thornsberry.

Visitation will be 4:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday August 18, 2022 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home In Morton, MS, and on Friday from 12:00pm to 1:50pm with the Funeral Service following at 2:00pm in the  Chapel. Burial will be at Morton Memorial Gardens.
