Jerry Steven Lacey

Jerry Steven Lacey, 66, passed away on Fri. May 29, 2026, at his home in Delta, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 1:00pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00pm.

Jerry was born on Aug. 15, 1959, in Kosciusko, MS to the late Joe Lacey Sr. and Aleene Edwards Lacey. He was co-owner of Lacey’s Digging Service, second-generation. He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast and was an original member of the Spirit Riders Motorcycle Club, and spent his time participating in multiple charitable events throughout the state. He was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, The Rankin Greys. Jerry had a very likable personality and was known as the “King of Charisma”. He enjoyed entertaining loved ones with stories of the trouble he’d get into with his brothers and sister growing up. He loved his family, especially his daughter, Lindsey, who was the apple of his eye.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Lacey; daughter, Lindsey Lacey; sister, Darlene Hays (Glenn); brother, Tim Lacey (Sherry); niece, Mistie Rose Desper; nephew, Michael Lacey and many more nieces and nephews. Jerry is also preceded in death by his brother, William “Billy” Lee Lacey and a nephew, Joe Lacey.
