Jerry Brown

Jerrell (Jerry) Henry Brown age 64, passed away October 2, 2023, in Pearl, Mississippi. Jerry was born July 18, 1959, to Jerrell and Waudean Brown in Jackson Mississippi.

Jerry was known for his great sense of humor, never meeting a stranger, and showing great kindness to his family and many friends.  He served as Superintendent for the City of Pearl where he developed many special friendships. Jerry was an avid hunter, fisherman and talented musician. He took pride in his Feist hunting dogs whom he adored and left behind, KK, Pepper, and Nellie Rae.

Jerry is survived by his two daughters; Christina Brown Reeder and Meaghan Brown Ahlberg, grandchildren; Hunter Steele, Waylon Reeder, Vivienne Reeder, Camden Ahlberg and Sullivan Ahlberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jerrell Henry and Waudean Garner Brown and his sister, Shelia Brown.

Services will be held Saturday, October 7th at Pearl Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 10 to 12, with memorial service to follow all at the church. The interment will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
