Jenell married the love of her life, Marlon Rawson, on August 19, 1955. She lived her entire life in Mississippi, with the majority being in Pearl. She enjoyed serving her community. She was the bookkeeper for Kraft Food Services, as well as Fruit Jobbers, a business she and Marlon partly owned. Jenell was a devout follower of Christ. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, MS, for many years, until she began attending Still Water Church at The Waterford where she resided. She was known for her love of baking and making jewelry. For over 50 years she baked cakes and other treats for weddings, showers, birthdays, and other special events. Her homemade mints were always requested for every get together. Whenever anyone went to Wendy’s, they knew to pick her up a vanilla Frosty, her favorite treat. Spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do. Whenever it came time to leave, she was always known to stall, just so she could soak up a few more minutes of love. If someone needed prayer, they knew to call Jenell. She was an avid prayer warrior with a direct line to The Lord, and she enjoyed sending daily devotions to all her family and friends.
To know her was to love her and she would do anything for anyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, her three siblings, and her beloved husband. Mrs. Rawson is survived by her daughter Sandy Page (Tony) of Madison, MS, son Cris Rawson (Connie) of Madison, MS, grandchildren, Hilary Vosen (Zack) of Jackson, MS, Mary Box (Gaston) of Madison, MS, Hannah Rawson of Oxford, MS, Cooper Page (Alex) of Birmingham, AL, Mary Julia Williams (Joel) of Madison, MS, and Caleb Rawson of Madison, MS. She had eight great grandchildren and one on the way.
