Jean Evans

Funeral services for Mrs. Jean M. Evans will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev, Ken McLemore officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the funeral home and from 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm on Thursday prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Evans, age 87, was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Lake.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Burney S. Evans, Sr; one son: Ronald B. Evans; and her father: Cecil P. Maxwell.

Survivors include one son: Rusty (Sherry) Evans; her mother: Katherine Maxwell; one sister: Ann Watts; five grandchildren: Marsha (Brian) Easterling; Nicole (Clyde) Copeland; Sydney Evans, Rhonda Evans, and  Andy Bauer; seven great-grandchildren.
