Jason "Cotton" Box

Mr. Jason "Cotton" Box, age 44, a resident of the Kalem Community passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Lackey Hospital in Forest, MS.  A Private service will be held by the family.   Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Jason was born in Hinds County on October 27, 1976.  He loved to play video games and watch movies.  Jason had a big heart when it came to loving his dogs, Bruno and one he lost in a house fire.  He enjoyed spoiling his niece, Macey and nephew, Zane.  His family said, "he lived a simple life and had a big heart."  He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Roger and Debra Box of the Kalem Community; brothers, Jeff Box (Brook) of Kalem, Justin Box of Kalem and Josh Box of Newton; niece, Macey Box; nephew, Zane Box; aunts, Rita Hamilton, Willie Mae Hamilton and Martha Pilgrim; uncle, Roy Hamilton and a host of friends.
