Jason Scott Hester

Mr. Jason Scott Hester, age 45, passed away on Wednesday at home. Jason was born on December 4, 1979 to Anthony and Martha Hester in Raleigh, MS. Jason was a special person that showed his love for others in his own unique way. His family could get a laugh from Jason by singing to him through an aluminum foil roll, he had a love for squeaky toys and Music boxes. Jason will be missed by all that knew him.

Preceded in death by his father, Anthony Hester; grandparents, Odoul and Bobbie Nell Henderson. Survived by his mother, Martha Hester; brother, William Tony Hester; uncle, Larry Henderson, his wife, Unhui; aunt, Brenda Russum, her husband, Dewayne; and his best friend, Dexter Bowen.

Visitation for Jason will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, April 25, 2025 at Lorena Baptist Church, and 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday with the Funeral following at 11:00am at Lorena Baptist Church, Bro. Anthony Grayson and Bro. Norris Able officiating. Serving as pallbearers, Dale Hester, Tony Duckworth, Lambert Henderson, Robert Lane, Bubba Hawkins, and Grant Goree. Honorary pallbearers are, Jerry Hawkins, Dexter Bowen, and Sam Shirley. Burial will be in Lorena Baptist Cemetery.
