Tuesday, August 22,2023 at 1030 Hours: Jarrette Wayne Yates, age 76, Husband, Father, Grandfather and American Veteran and a Veteran for Christ, has received his Calling from The Most High God. His duties will be to Live an Eternal life and more Abundantly.

The family will have a Memorial Service at 12:00pm, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Two Mile Baptist Church. Visitation will start at 11:00am at Two Mile Baptist Church.

Mr. Yates was born in Marks, Mississippi.  He was a hard worker and dedicated employee of Flocon Steel for many years.  Wayne could be found cheering on his two favorite football teams, New Orlean Saints and Ole Miss Rebels.  He enjoyed playing games, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jay W. Yates and Mary Larcena Clark Yates; brother, Billy Ray Yates and sister, Linda Beeland.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Yates of Morton; children, Eddie Yates and wife, Bonnie of Morton and Timothy W. Yates and wife, Renee of Richland; brothers, Ricky S. Yates and Wade Yates; 5 grandchildren, Kara Yates, Jarrette Lee Yates, Cody Cole, Aubrey Cole and Angela Cole; great grandson, Jason L. Yates; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ott and Lee of Morton was honored to serve the Yates family.
